      Hello,

I am 34 year married men from India. I have 7 year old son, my wife and my parents in my family. I have lost lakhs of rupees in gambling. Initially it was started with small amount like 1-2 thousand trading in Indian stock market way back in 2015. Slowly and gradually amount kept of increasing as the time passes and I started playing in lakhs by 2018-2019. By this time I have almost lost 3-4 lakhs of my personal saving. After covid era I am working from home and during this 3 year it ruined my life. From somewhere I came to know about olymp trade platform and I started gambling in lakhs or rupees. I tool personal loan from banks, borrowed money from friends telling lies, lost my father’s saving n within one year of covid I lost 25-30 lakhs rupees. I have no control over my mind and also has suicidal thought in my mind. All my friend and family came to know about my this habit. They helped me n supported me to repay my all debt. I was ok for 5-6 months but suddenly what happened even I don’t know and again I started gambling and again lost 10 lakhs rupees. There was time when I recovered all my loss which I made second time but again to earn more and more money and to recover my first loss of 25-30 lakh I started batting in lakhs or rupees and lost all my profit. Now, my current situation is I have debt of around 15 lakh. My monthly salary is only 60 thousand. I wanna quit gambling but the thought that how would i repay my debt from my current source of income is killing me inside. it will take more than 2-3 years to be debt free. As I have family so how would I survive with this much amount of debt, please guide me and help me.

      Hi Piyush,

I am from India too and I have same condition like you. However, I have debt of 1.2 lakh and paying around 25k per month.

The problem is that I have 30000 salary and my emi is bigger than salary.
I have taken couple of loan (short term) loan from different NBFC banks.

I want to get out of this situation and I don’t know what to do.

I don’t family or friends who can help me to get out of this situation.

I hope everything will be okay and just have faith.
