For those members here who usually also use Gamblers Anonymous I hope that you have been able to stay connected in some way to your usual meeting. For those that haven’t and for those who want extra support or connect to Gamblers Anonymous for the first time then here is a link to Zoom meetings around the world.
https://gamblersinrecovery.com
Now you can connect to a local meeting or one on the opposite side of the world.

Just noticed. The GA Zoom meetings are listed in rotating date order. Meetings currently running or that start in the next hour or so are always listed first. Brilliant tool. If you are struggling or want to talk to another compulsive gambler you can always do it NOW. ??

Hi Donberry.? This is a forum rather than live groups so there would never be “anyone here” as such.? The link posted above is to live GA zoom meetings.??
There are also chat groups here, if you click on Support Groups” you can see the full schedule.? “Open Groups” are unmoderated so there might not always be someone there but all otehr types of group have a facilitator so there is always someone to talk to.
These forums are available 24/7 and i suggest you look at the My Journal Forum, you will read a lot of thigns you will relate to there.? You will also see the sorts of things that hafve helped others stop gambling.

Here is another link as well. https://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/virtual-meetings
More Zoom meetigns but these are specifically in the USA. No reason anyone couldnt connect from elsewhere though.
Strangely the pandemic has meant that support has never been as easy to access.

Thanks, good reminder to check out….again. Was in casino several hours ago
and lost a considerable amount of money, months of wages. After 12 or so years
it only gets worse especially when Im losing. There have sporadic periods of selfexclusion etc.
but i have short memeory. Was good n beginning for a few years in recovery until I stopped.
Wishing if I had only follwed a few suggestions which i did for a periond,
“dont go in or near gambling establiushmets. Dont tempt or tempt yourself.
I dont know how I am going to feel after I sleep and wakeup to reality but it helps to tell myself addiction is a sickness
and I am not well, not a bad person. Usaually there is a dread and bit of insanity for days or weeks, no idea
what to expect but felt the need to connect even if it this text. I am afraid how this ganbling hangover will affect my work, etc. next while.
test yourself”
