I am trying to look at the big picture too, for myself. . A cpl years to pay off debt is a lot better than spending the rest of this life chasing money… thinking that’ll make me happy.

Sounds like you got a plan going. Do you know what triggers your gambling?

For me, it’s been being bored. Which is beyond stupid. So now when I get bored.. I start doing things on the to do list! ??

    Hi Kim74,

Sorry to hear about your partner. This disease is an ugly one. 2 days is a good start. I know gamban can be removed, but it’s a good reminder to not remove it.

So what’s your plan moving forward?

Just know you can do this

    Hi over there,

Well if you think youll lose it all on slots, there’s your answer – don’t do it. Install gamban to your devices! You won’t regret it.

    Good luck

Well, thought id check in. I haven’t gambled since my first post.

I still haven’t let up the feeling of disappointment/disgust I have towards my actions. Better that I don’t forget, or pretend it didn’t happen. Ugh

I shall continue to work on myself and staying gamble free. Current and future me deserves the best version of myself. . And the gambling version is the worst version of myself!

    Hi Kim74,

You can do it. One day at a time. You should download gamban on all your devices. It’ll block all and any gambling sites.

    Hi over there,

I read every word you wrote. I don’t have many words of wisdom. I just wanted you to know I read your words. And I feel your despair.

Can you get a job working as an electrician there? You’re 26 and with a solid plan and some hard work you can get out of the debt. Gambling has to stop.

We are all struggling with something, we are all here because we have the same problem. Knowing we are not alone gives us hope.
