I am making this thread to keep on track my gampling addiction and remind my self the consequences of my actions and to my close ones.
Firstly I am 27 years old I have been gampling since 18 years old, I have been through almost every gampling game like sporting bets, slots, poker, blackjack, roulette.
The last 5 years I have lose any control I had at this ??habit?? especially with blackjack and poker, just the moment I get paid I gample everything, even the moments I get big wins with satisfying amounts I still keep gampling,I can’t stop until I lose everything. I am trying to stop this addiction but I have never been gampling free over 2 months. The moment I reach 50-60 days gampling free and have an ammount of saving I lose control just for one moment and that moment will cost me 1-2 three salaries or even worse. Then I keep chasing my loses by borrowing money or get loans and get in dept.
After all these loses back to back I get humbled and I start over to get back on my feet. Then when I get in normal financially position I lose control and all these happens over and over again through years. The result is that I get in a bigger debt,I lose the trust of my family and friends and keep my self away from my goals and dreams.
I have the gamban app but it is does not really help me because when the urge hits I just go to an internet cafe and I gample from there. Also I have close permanent all my accounts from online casino but there are so many where you can find an other one easy to gamble. If you have to suggest any other tool or tip stay gampling free I would appreciate it.

So let’s start over one more time but this time be gampling free for ever,in one year from now i can pay all my depts and have an ammount of savings, today 10/10/2024 is the day one.

Thank you for your advice Dunc.
I am just on day 13 gampling free, I had some gampling thoughts yesterday but I kept my self busy to avoid these thoughts. Many of my relapses comes when I have free time, I think about the amounts I have lost and the dept I have created. So I convince my self that my the solution to my problem is gambling but the truth is that gambling created all these problems. I need to stay focused on today and do meaningful things to keep my self busy. I like running and exercising,so I will start again today to get back in shape. My next update will be on day 30.

      Hi karis123,

How are you? I’ve been where you’re at. It’s a painful experience to pick yourself up every time you fall. It’s in fact easier to continue gambling which is why we do it. But when we go through the pain of picking ourselves up, it’s easier to keep standing than fall again. So why not try it?
