The Gambling Therapy peer support forums are an inclusive, welcoming area of the website. It is important that you recognise you are not alone – and the forums can be part of the way in which you begin to appreciate the value of connection with others.

The forums are a space to share your thoughts and feelings, to read about how others are working through their gambling issues, to offer support to others who may be struggling and for others to offer you encouragement on the road ahead.

The process of writing can be therapeutic in itself, and reflecting on your own words and reviewing your progress can be a valuable part of your journey. The forums are a public space so people from around the world can offer you encouragement from their own perspective.

If you are struggling with your own gambling, a good place to write your first post would be the my journal area of the forum. If you are worried about or affected by someone else’s gambling then the dedicated friends and family forum is a good place to start.

If you haven’t already done so, you will need to register as a member in order to write in the forums. Registration is free and takes one or two minutes. You do not need to use your real name to register, but you do need to have access to a working email account.

The forums are available 24/7.
